The beta terms, plainly.

Access to Lumis during private beta, at no cost, for your organization’s team. You can connect the supported integrations listed on our integrations page and use every shipping feature. Your team stays in control of your underlying PM tool — Lumis is a layer on top, not a system of record.

• Use Lumis in good faith. Don’t try to break it, don’t abuse the AI features to circumvent budgets, don’t run competitive benchmarks without telling us.
• Don’t share your invite. Invites are organization-scoped; we’ll give you more seats if your team needs them.
• Tell us when it breaks. Beta is the time when honest feedback is worth more than polite feedback.
• Keep your own data backed up in its source of truth (Asana, etc.). Lumis is a sync layer — your data stays where it was.

• No uptime SLA. Private beta runs on Railway. We aim to keep Lumis up and fix things fast when it isn’t. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage during beta. Outages land in the changelog.
• No data processing agreement (DPA) yet. The DPA + subprocessor arrangement ships at GA. If you need one sooner to run procurement, email security@lumis.work and we’ll work something out.
• No indefinite free tier. Beta access is free; paid tiers launch at GA. When that happens we’ll give you 90 days notice and grandfather your pricing for at least a year if you convert.

Every AI call logs its cost in your account. Your organization has a monthly budget cap (default during beta: $50). When you hit 80% you get an email; at 100% AI features disable until the next window or an admin raises the cap. You can switch any AI feature to template mode or off at any time.

You own the data in your connected PM tool, and you own the configuration you set inside Lumis (routing personas, prompt overrides, digest templates). When you leave Lumis, we delete your data on request within 30 days; backups purge within 90.

We do not use your workspace data to train any shared model. Full accounting lives on the privacy page.

You can leave at any time. Disconnect the integration, delete the account, and we delete the associated data on the schedule above. We can also pause or end your beta access — usually only if we see abuse, which hasn’t happened yet. We’ll email you first.

During private beta, Lumis is provided as-is, without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the beta. Your system of record stays in your PM tool — if Lumis has a bug that affects a sync, you recover from the PM tool. We’ll fix the bug and tell you about it in the changelog.

This is the honest beta-phase version of a liability clause. Formal language lands at GA.
